What I wore on the fourth day of Amsterdam Fashion Week. The last day of the freezing temperatures, with snow still present. A classic black and white with an edge. Clothing wise I was slightly limited, but when it comes to beauty products, especially during busy times like a fashion week, I always use the same stuff. There’s just a small amount of items I tend to grab in the big pile of things lying around my bed- and bathroom.

Lately I started to take a close and critical look at my beauty stock. I have a this huge drawer full of creams, hair sprays, make-up, nailpolishes and all things inbetween. I drive my boyfriend crazy by adding tubes and bottles every month. But I must say: I have no clue what I’m doing. So note to self: start looking in to these kind of things.

Just as I intend to do wardrobe-wise I want to do it better this year. More conscious and considerate with what comes in – and consequently goes out of the house. Since it concerns the skin or hair, you have to be safe and well aware of what you put on or in it. Don’t let laziness or nonchalance get in your beauty or fashion way!

So. Let move over to the important part. What’s step one? I need to sort out what I really need, how to use it and where to get it. And I could definitely use some pointers here. Because, as far as I am concerned, beauty is – minor or big, you choose – a part of a fashion lifestyle as well. And with the current technologies and developments it is even possible to get your (exclusive) stuff online, in just one click you can have cosmetics like these on this site, sent and delivered to your home. Quite perfect in busy times like these, right?
